We would like to explain our company and the services we provide. We were founded by Mr. Isao Hayashi in 1998 to prepare students for the TOEFL, GRE and IELTS tests. By using the Internet, we were able to monitor and assist students nationwide as they prepared for certification or to enter universities abroad. Students and educators are able to subscribe to our network and access our services through their private accounts.
Eventually, there were requests for actual classes, and so a computer lab was built to provide the most up-to-date methods for English instruction; this coupled with Mr. Hayashi personally teaching many of the courses, has resulted in many students successfully reaching their goals in English proficiency. Not only is Mr. Hayashi the founder, but he also has the heaviest teaching schedule in the company; his ability as an educator is well recognized.
Earlier this year, there began to appear requests for native English speakers for various situations, and the result was the creation of the Good Teachers Net. This is a service which lists teachers on our secure network, where students are able to search, find, and contact the one individual who best fits their schedule and interests.
LINGO L.L.C. seeks to provide the highest level of English instruction in a plethora of specific instances ranging from basic English conversation to preparing for GRE and GMAT. We succeed on the quality and commitment of our students and staff, while respecting that which makes man, man.
Introduction:
Apply to GT-Net
Good Teachers Net was created by LINGO L.L.C. which is a center for intensive English instruction based in Tokyo. The founder, Mr. Hayashi, is a well known writer and educator of linguistics, and for many years he has been preparing students to study in overseas universities or to pass certification examinations.
Good Teachers Net is a service which unites students and teachers for a variety of purposes and at a variety of times and places. At LINGO L.L.C. we have seen the manner of English instruction evolving, and are prepared to thrive in the new environment. We have a private network of students and educators who are frequently requesting the services of native English instructors. This service is designed for teachers who are looking to add some extra hours to their existing schedule.
How it works:
Students and institutions log on to our network and are able to view a list of available instructors. The information provided gives a general description, qualifications, and availability. Once a student finds a suitable match, he fills out some information which is received by our office, and then we contact the instructor.
The classes can be held at LINGO L.L.C. if a classroom is available, but most students opt for a more convenient location, as determined with the teacher. The course is three months in duration, and is renewable by mutual consent. The average fee is 4000 yen per hour, and will be deposited directly from LINGO L.L.C. into the instructor’s bank account. Classes can range from 1-6 students with the average being 3, and class duration and frequency can be adjusted as necessary. There are no free trial lessons, and payment is made even if the students fails to attend the class without sufficient notice. There is no charge for being listed on the Good Teachers Net.
How to join:
Either fill out the online application form or send your resume to us. We will then review the information and possibly arrange an interview. We require that our instructors have at least a four-year-college degree, and a valid working visa. Once completed, we will add the instructor to the Good Teachers Net.
